Packaging design
Packaging design.
A pack is the one piece of the brand the customer holds in their hand. I design on the real dieline, check the print on the real material, and make sure the range reads as one family from two metres and each product is found at a glance.
Coffee bags and cups for Forester Coffee, toothpaste and box for White Rabbit Dental, tea for Fohatsu, juice for DOTOD, eyewear for UltraMorea, plus concepts for an energy drink and a premium juice.
What you get.
01The range as a system
One structure for every product, with a colour or a picture that tells them apart. Adding a flavour next year should not need a designer; the guide shows how.
On the dieline
I work on the printer's template from day one, with bleed, glue flaps and the crimp where it really is. The mockup you approve is the pack you get.
Everything on the pack
Legal text, weights, barcodes, origin and the small print laid out so they are legible and out of the way. The idea survives all of it or it was not a good idea.
Print-ready files
Separated colours, spot colours where they matter, dielines on their own layer, and a proof round with your printer. I am on the call when the first sheet comes off the press.

02Questions.
03We do not have a printer yet. Can you help choose one?
Yes. I ask for the dieline and the material options before designing, and I can suggest printers and manufacturers I have worked with for bags, boxes, tubes and labels.
Can you redesign only the label and keep the bottle?
Yes. Often the container is fine and the label is where the money is. I design for the exact label shape and the way it wraps.
What about sustainable materials?
I design for the material you choose and I say honestly what each one does to colour and detail: kraft paper mutes it, unbleached board shifts it, metallised film changes everything.
How long does it take?
That depends on your deadline, and I plan around it. The first concepts come within a week; you can pick one, combine two, ask for changes or for new directions. Most projects are done in three to five weeks.
What does it cost?
After the first call you get a fixed quote for the scope we agree on. No price list, and no surprises on the invoice.
Who will I be talking to?
Me. No account managers, no hand-off to juniors. You talk to the person who designs.
A pack, a label, a range? Write to me.
Two sentences are enough: what it is and by when. The rest comes out in the conversation.
