A cup with antlers: a quiet, silver identity for a coffee roaster.

2026

Forester Coffee is built around one picture: a pair of antlers growing out of a cup. Everything else follows from it. Black and white photographs, silver surfaces and a lot of quiet, on the bags, on the posters and on the walls of the café.

The Forester Coffee mark: antlers over a cup, with the wordmark
Three silver bags: Decaf with an animal close-up, Lighter Roast with a stag, Darker Roast with a forest
Typographic poster: Stay wild. Drink coffee.
Typographic poster on black: Silence is our roast.

Three roasts, three pictures. A close-up of an animal for Decaf, a stag in motion for Lighter Roast, a forest in mist for Darker Roast. The same three run on the posters, each with a short line and the antlers in the corner, so the shelf and the wall say the same thing.

Silver holds the two halves together. The bags, the takeaway cups and the tableware are the same aluminium grey, and the antlers come back above the entrance and behind whoever sits at the bar.

The films keep the grain and the motion blur of the stills and move slowly, eight frames a second. The last one lifts a cup, puts it back down and ends on the logo.
